I, the undersigned, do hereby agree to take part in and uphold the duties and responsibilities of a player in the West Texas Youth Football League. I agree to express myself in the true manner of good sportsmanship at all times.

Having discussed with our son/daughter the players contract for the West Texas Youth Football League, we do hereby give our consent and permission for him/her to participate as a member of the team to which he/she is assigned. We hereby covenant and agree to protect the West Texas Youth Football League and Bushland ISD and all other persons acting as its agents, representatives and team sponsors against any claims for damages, compensation or otherwise, resulting from injury to our son/daughter in connection with participation in the youth league football program. West Texas Youth Football League and Bushland ISDwill not be held responsible for any injuries or accidents.
We certify that the above date of birth shown for our son/daughter is correct.
We understand that at all times on the field, players and spectators alike will encourage good sportsmanship and will conduct themselves in an exemplary manner. The use of alcoholic beverages and/or tobacco products will not be tolerated on or around the field. Any offender (player, parent, or any spectator) who exhibits behavior contrary to WTYFL rules of sportsmanship and conduct will be asked to leave the field premises.

Football Players Contract Rules
- Players will agree to follow the rules of this
contract at ALL times on the field, and at any function or event
sponsored by WTYFL.
- Players will conduct themselves in a manner that
reflects good sportsmanship at all times with NO EXCEPTIONS.
- A player removed from a game under any circumstances
will abide by the decision of the WTYFL officials.
- All rules and interpretations will fall under
UIL high school guidelines.
- All rulings by WTYFL are final.
- Players, coaches, and spectators will be held
to highest standards of sportsmanship at all times, both on and
off the field of play.
- WTYFL reserves the right to remove players, coaches,
or spectators at any time.
Stadium Rules
- No alcohol or tobacco use will be allowed on premises.
- All spectators must remain in the stands or seating
areas.
- Only players and coaches will be permitted on
the sidelines.
- There will be NO harassment (of any type) to
the referees.
Helmet Warning
This statement is for your understanding with regards
to the use of helmets: DO NOT strike an opponent with any part of
the helmet or facemask. This is a violation of football rules and
misuse of helmet may cause you to suffer severe brain or neck injury,
including paralysis or death, severe brain or neck injury may also
occur accidentally while playing football. No helmet will prevent
all such injuries. VIOLATIONS and PENALTIES will be dealt with according
to UIL High School Rules.
Equipment Return Policy
Your equipment will be returned following your last game. You will be accountable and billed $200 for equipment damaged or not returned. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Admission
All games will be held at the Bushland ISD stadium
unless otherwise specified located at Bushland elementary school
in Bushland TX.
